Peter R. Chung, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Peter R. Chung is delighted to live and serve in the community of Napa.  He was born and raised in the East Bay and comes from a family of dentists which include his father, his wife, and his brother-in-law.  He attended college at UC Irvine, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 1997.  He then went on to graduate from the UCSF School of Dentistry in 2001.  He is grateful for the opportunity to come to Napa in 2005, and has enjoyed being part of this wonderful community and neighborhood.

Dr. Chung served on the admissions committee while at UCSF and still serves as a mentor for prospective dental students at UC Irvine.  He is currently on the Board of the Napa-Solano Dental Society and is a member of the Spear Education Faculty Club, a group dedicated to advanced dental education. He enjoys sports such as golf, tennis, and ping-pong, and is a baseball, basketball, and football fan of our local teams.  He also enjoys taking his dog on walks around the neighborhood.

He is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the California Dental Association (CDA).

He is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve in our local community and looks forward to welcoming you to his office!

Lynne W. Hsia, DDS

Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Lynne Hsia (pronounced "Shaw") is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who brings extensive experience working exclusively on children and she absolutely loves it!

"Dr. Lynne", as we like to call her, is Dr. Chung's wife.  They met in college at U.C. Irvine while earning their degrees in Biological Sciences.  She then went on to earn her dental degree in San Francisco at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP).  She next went to New York for 2 years to complete a highly rewarding Pediatric Dental Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, the level one major hospital serving Bronx, NY.  It was the hospital staff in New York that gave her the nicknames, "Sunshine" and "Happy Happy Doc" because of her natural constant upbeat personality.  She's an animal lover, enjoys gardening, and ALWAYS has a big smile on her face!

We are pleased to have her extensive Pediatric experience on board and to offer her services as an option for your children.  In addition to serving our community of Napa, she also has her own office in Sonoma as well!

Taylor K. Nakashima, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Taylor Nakashima was born and raised in San Jose, California. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in psychobiology and doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry with honors. She continued her post-doctoral training at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center serving veterans and completing a year-long General Practice Residency.

Dr. Nakashima is a caring and friendly dental provider who prioritizes collaborating with patients to deliver customized treatment tailored to each patient’s needs. She has a gentle approach to dentistry and believes in providing minimally invasive treatment to achieve patients’ goals and support their dental health. She enjoys getting to know her patients and is always mindful of their experience, prioritizing their comfort during each visit. Dr. Nakashima is dedicated to continuing education and actively seeks opportunities to learn about current dental advances and technology. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and several local dental study clubs.

In her spare time, Dr. Nakashima enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. Dr. Nakashima is excited to join our team and looks forward to meeting you!
